Day 1, Wed 03Jun: Singapore - Warsaw 

All to meet at the airport at 2100 hrs for a short briefing before checking in.

 Day 2, Thurs 04Jun: Warsaw

  • Meet your driver upon arrival and board the coach.

  • Drive to Niepokalanow Sanctuary and the Franciscan Monastery linked with St. Maximilian Maria Raymond Kolbe - a martyr from the death camp in Auschwitz. Meet the priest from the Niepokalanow Sanctuary who will explain to us the story of St. Kolbe and take us through the museum.

  • Celebrate Mass at the Shrine.

  • Board the coach and drive back to Warsaw.

  • Meet your English-speaking guide and have a half day city tour of Warsaw to include the old town, Barbican, market square, St John Cathedral, Royal Palace square, pass by the Royal Castle (exterior view), St. Ann’s Church, passing the presidential palace, visit St Stanislaw Church where Chopin heart is kept in an Urn ending at the classy Nowy Swiat Pedestrian street.

  • Drive to the hotel for check in

  • Dinner at the hotel this evening.

 Day 3, Fri 05 Jun: Warsaw – Czestochowa

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Board the coach and drive to Czestochowa, the most popular pilgrimage site in Poland. Here we will visit the Jasna Gora Monastery where we will see the Treasury, the Knight’s Hall, the Refectory and the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The highlight of our visit will be a viewing of the famous icon of the Black Madonna to which miraculous powers are attributed

  • Celebrate mass at one of the Chapels

  • Lunch

  • Free & Easy

  • Check-in to the hotel.

  • Have dinner at the hotel

 Day 4, Sat 06 Jun: Czestochowa – Krakow  

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out

  • Celebrate Mass at Jasna Gora Monastery

  • Drive to Krakow

  • Have lunch at Chinese restaurant upon arrival

  • Meet your English-speaking local guide and have guided tour of Krakow. Proceed to Wawel Hill to see Wawel Royal Castle (exterior view) and visit the Cathedral (entrance included) which is one of the most beautiful renaissance residences in central Europe. Continue to Krakow's Old Town to see the main Market Square, the Church of St. Mary (entrance included), Cloth Hall, City Hall Tower, Kanonicza Street where Pope John Paul II resided while living in Krakow and the Collegium Maius (courtyard only) where he was a student

  • Check in to your hotel

  • Dinner at the hotel this evening.

 Day 5, Sun 07 Jun: Krakow – Lagiewniki – Wieliczka – Krakow  

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Board the coach and drive to visit the Divine Mercy Shrine in Lagiewniki, where Saint Faustina, the Apostle of Divine Mercy, lived and died. There is the Basilica erected and consecrated by the Holy Father John Paul II in 2002 and the chapel that houses the Image of the Divine Mercy, famed for its graces, and the relics of St Faustina. Enjoy a guided tour of the shrine.

  • Celebrate mass at the shrine.

  • Drive to Wieliczka for lunch.

  • Continue on to visit Wieliczka (entrance included) - to see the oldest salt mine in Europe, a world-class tourist attraction. It is a unique place where many generations of Polish miners have created a world of underground chambers and salt lakes with richly decorated chapels, including the famous Blessed Kinga's Chapel. For centuries it was the source of the country’s wealth and the material foundation of its culture. Today it is the most popular Polish tourist attraction.

  • Return to Krakow

  • Have dinner at the hotel

Day 6, Mon 8 Jun: Krakow – Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – Wadowice – Auschwitz – Krakow   

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Board the coach and drive to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska which was a popular pilgrimage place for Pope John Paul II when he was a young man and where in the 17th century the Palatine of Krakow founded a Franciscan Monastery. On the slope of the hill and the valley is an architectural ‘Way of the Cross’ made up of 40 chapels set on the surrounding hills.

  • Have some time to visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska.

  • Board the coach and drive to Wadowice to visit the birthplace of Pope John Paul II

  • Celebrate mass at Wadowice

  • Visit Pope’s home which is now a museum (entrance included).

  • Have lunch at the local restaurant before to drive on.

  • Visit the Nazi Concentration Camp of Auschwitz (entrance included). Visit the cell of the martyred St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Conventual Franciscan friar, who voluntarily surrendered his life so that another prisoner might live. Saint Maximilian Mary Kolbe is known as the "Apostle of Consecration to Mary," and he was canonized by Pope John Paul II in October, 1982. We will also drive by Birkenau, site of the martyrdom of Edith Stein, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. Today’s journey offers an opportunity to enter into deep prayer and reflection as we continue with a guided tour of the camp.

  • Return back to Krakow.

  • Have dinner at the hotel

 Day 7, Tues 9 Jun: Krakow – Ostrava – Prague   

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out

  • Celebrate mass at the local church in Krakow

  • Board the coach and depart Krakow for Prague

  • Have lunch at the local restaurant in Ostrava en route.

  • Upon arrival to Prague check-in to the hotel

  • Have dinner at the hotel

 Day 8, Wed 10 Jun: Prague   

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Meet your English-speaking guide and enjoy a guided tour of Prague to see the castle district Hradcany (entrance is not included). Pass by St. Vitus’ Cathedral (used for the inauguration of Presidents and where you can find the tomb of St. Wenceslas and former rulers of the Czech Kingdom). Pass the Basilica of St. George and the Prague Castle. Then, stroll through Mala Strana with its amazing architectural buildings.

  • Then proceed to the Church of Our Lady of Victory to see the statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague.

  • Celebrate mass at the Shrine. – subject to final confirmation

  • Have lunch at the local restaurant.

  • After lunch we spent time at the old city and visit the St Charles Bridge, Astronomical Clock and free time shopping

  • Dinner at the local restaurant this evening

 Day 9, Thurs 11 Jun: Prague – Svata Hora – Kutna Hora – Prague

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Drive to Svata Hora to visit the Monastery (guided tour included)

  • Celebrate mass

  • Have lunch at Kostelec beer pub (subject to confirmation)

  • Continue to Kutna Hora to visit the Bone Church and St. Barbara Church (entrance included)

  • Drive back to Prague

  • Dinner at the hotel

Day 10, Fri 12 Jun: Prague – Mariazell 

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

  • Board the coach and drive to Mariazell

  • Have lunch at the local restaurant en route.

  • Visit the Shrine of Mariazell Basilica

  • Celebrate Holy Mass.

  • Check in to your hotel.

  • Dinner at the hotel tonight

Day 11, Sat 13 Jun: Mariazell – Melk – Vienna 

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Board the coach and drive to Vienna.

  • Make a stop en route at Melk.

  • Celebrate Mass at the Abbey

  • Visit Melk Abbey (entrance fee included) crowning the rocky hill overlooking the Danube. It is the best sample of Baroque architecture in Austria. Visit the Benedictine Abbey that was founded in 1702. Its library contains over 80,000 books and 2,000 manuscripts - all on religious subjects.

  • Drive on to Vienna

  • Have lunch at the Chinese restaurant upon arrival

  • Meet your English-speaking guide and enjoy a city tour of Vienna to include a panoramic tour of the famous ring then a walk of the old town between the University and Opera house passing major monuments to include donners fountain, Belwedere Palace gardens, Hofburg palace, Spanish horses training place, St Steven Basilica. The city tour is also to include the visit of the Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens (entrance included)

  • Have dinner at the local Grinzing Heurigenr restaurant this evening.

 Day 12, Sun 14 Jun: Vienna – Heiligenkreuz Abbey – Budapest 

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out

  • Visit Vienna woods Heiligenkreuz Abbey, the oldest Cistercian Abbey (no guided tour)

  • Celebrate Mass at the Abbey

  • Have lunch at the local restaurant en route

  • Board the coach and drive on to Budapest

  • Check-in to the hotel upon arrival.

  • Have some free time for fresh-up.

  • Dinner at the local restaurant

 Day 13, Mon 15 Jun: Budapest 

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Meet your English-speaking guide and enjoy a half-day city tour. Our visits today include the Fisherman’s Bastion, which takes its name from the guild of fishermen that were responsible for defending this stretch of city walls in the Middle Ages, followed by Matyás Church, a gorgeous Romanesque style church whose Ecclesiastical Art museum houses numerous sacred relics and medieval stone carvings, including replicas of the Hungarian royal crown and coronation jewels.

  • Have lunch at the local restaurant.

  • Visit the church of our Lady of Remete and celebrate holy mass

  • Free time and shopping at the city

  • Have Farewell dinner at the local restaurant with gypsy show.

Day 14, Tues 16 Jun: Budapest departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out

  • Board the coach and transfer to the airport for our return flight back home (B)

Cancellations

The following cancellation charges are levied by the airlines, hotels, overseas ground operators and our services and opportunity costs.

Anyone found to be a disturbance to the harmony of the group would be asked to leave on their own accord.
